How to use

You can rehydrate Ofene Jackfruit either by boiling or soaking. Choose the method that fits your kitchen and get started below.

Step 1: Measure

Decide how much rehydrated jackfruit you want to prepare.

Use a 1:8 ratio for minced jackfruit (e.g. 50 g = 400 g) and a 1:7 ratio for diced jackfruit (50 g = 350 g)

Step 2: Boil or Soak

To boil: Add the dehydrated jackfruit directly to boiling water and let it boil for 15–20 minutes.

To soak: Place the jackfruit in a bowl and cover with lukewarm water. Let it soak for 3 hours at room temperature.

Step 3: Drain

Pour off any excess liquid and let it stand for a moment before use.

Your Ofene Jackfruit is now rehydrated and ready to cook with.
